Spain has many opportunities for experiential learning kids will enjoy. These opportunities contribute to Spain's thriving tourist economy and many are geared entirely to children. Parents will love these activities and can feel secure in knowing that their kids are not only having fun adventures, but they are also learning many new and unique things in the process. For instance, Spain offers zoos, safaris, water sports, outdoor adventures, and even hosts Europe's largest aquarium. This aquarium is the wildly imaginative L' Oceanografic located in an area of Valencia Spain. Another major attraction similar in fashion but sporting a more diverse and wider range of animals are Spain's safaris. There are several safari parks located near Madrid Spain. Many of these safari parks offer organized tours for children on weekends and holidays. Each tour features an educated field guide which escorts the children and offer information pertaining to each animal along the way. Still other activities exist for children such as the Atapuerca Archeaological Park which offers a real opportunity for everyone to learn about the origins of human beings. This archaeological Park also offers guided tours which work in conjunction with an actual recreation from the Pleistocene and Paleolithic Periods of the Bronze age. Yet, despite all of these offerings for children in Spain there are a number of resort campsites which offer their own extensive list of activities so there really is no chance your kids will be bored in Spain. And, in spite of the wide array of unique learning experiences which are especially geared to the entertainment of children, many parents prefer the safety and security of the resorts versus venturing out into the unknown. Collectively these activities, parks, campsites, and holiday resorts contribute to a healthy and thriving tourist economy in the world's second most visited country, Spain.
